If you follow prep football, it's semifinal weekend. Class AAA and AA play Fri., Nov. 6, and Class A and 9-man play Sat., Nov. 7. Here are the games with area teams.

West Fargo beat Fargo Davies 43-40 in early October. Davies has since upset Bismarck 21-14. On Davies, The Bismarck Tribune wrote:

“Playing Fargo Davies at any point means your run defense has to be on point every single play.”

The Bismarck Tribune
  • Kindred (10-0): Jamestown gave them a 28-21 game
  • Central Cass: beat Devils Lake 28-8 last week
  • Northern Cass: won 27-13 at Bishop Ryan-Our Redeemer's
  • Minot North and Central Cass: no meeting yet this season

KSJB says many considered Kindred maybe the best team in the state this season. Dickinson, which missed the playoffs last year, beat Grand Forks Central 40-20 to get here, and it hopes to do what Jamestown nearly did.

Kindred and Northern Cass lead area semifinalists with 10 wins each
