- ➤ Chad Ulven, a University Distinguished Professor, has been named a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors—the highest honor for academic inventors—and will be inducted at the 15th Annual NAI Conference in Los Angeles in June, highlighting his nationally recognized work in sustainable materials and polymer composites. - ➤ Fargo Police will hold a community meeting Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the Alex Stern Family Foundation Community Room at the Fargo Parks Sports Center (6100 38th Street South). - ➤ Fargo crews have worked nonstop with 16 plows and eight units to clear roadways and are set to start cleaning downtown avenues Sunday evening, with vehicles parked beyond 2 a.m. Monday to be towed — city officials urge residents to move their cars. WDAY Radio
- ➤ City Commissioner Michelle Turnberg questioned the funding and oversight of Fargo Cass Public Health's Harm Reduction Division after nearly one million needles were distributed over 2024 and 2025.
