Fargo's Emergency Food Pantry distributed over half its monthly food supply in one week as more residents needed help putting food on their tables.

Executive Director Stacie Loegering said the spike in demand will prompt the organization to expand its services — a sign of growing community need.

Former Moorhead Police officer Brad Schenck, who served 16 years, died Saturday after a long battle with Grade 2-3 Oligodendroglioma; he was diagnosed in 2016, returned to work two years later, and a seizure revealed his cancer had recurred, with funeral services pending at Korsmo Funeral and Cremation Service in Moorhead.
