GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • North Dakota is using $1.5 million from the Department of Health and Human Services to support food programs amid a federal shutdown that will delay SNAP benefits, with Governor Armstrong noting that the Great Plains Food Bank received $915,000 to buy over 450,000 pounds of food for roughly 24,000 households.
