- ➤ HOPE Inc. held its annual Adaptive Track Meet on Saturday at Concordia College’s Olson Forum Fieldhouse where Concordia’s Cross Country and Track teams awarded medals to over 40 participants in categories such as wheelchair and adapted racing — a true family event for HOPE Inc. supporters. The organization will host a Fashion Show on October 25th at Horizon Middle School—promising another community celebration. KVRR

- ➤ Fans of local food truck Detroit Deli sampled the new Little Bodega when it moved from a food truck to a storefront on Saturday—promising fresh produce, deli, cheese, and grocery items for downtown residents. The owner said the store will officially open by the end of October to meet the community's need for easy access to fresh food. KVRR

- ➤ Sean Schneider of Moorhead Area Public Schools warned drivers that passing school buses with extended stop arms risks fines—$250 in Fargo and $500 in Minnesota—and that bus cameras are tracking violations after a driver was flagged in Menahga on September 24th. - ➤ After weeks of public hearings, the Fargo City Transit Office will present recommendations on Monday to the City Commission for proposed MATBUS changes—proposals include eliminating route 16, ending the industrial park on-demand service, and realigning routes 14 and 15. WDAY Radio
- ➤ After nearly an hour of discussion Friday, the Fargo Convention Center Committee delayed moving any of the nine projects to the next phase while planning an additional review next week—retired CEO Charley Johnson said the extra meeting would prevent further delays. - ➤ North Dakota welcomed 40 new attorneys Friday at a ceremony in the House chambers in Bismarck—Governor Kelly Armstrong and justices encouraged the new lawyers. Sixty-three applicants took the Bar Exam that began in July. WDAY Radio

- ➤ On Friday night, high school football games delivered mixed results — Fargo Davies beat West Fargo Sheyenne 51-27, WF Horace defeated Fargo North 56-13, and Shanley edged West Fargo 36-28 — while Minnesota teams saw Moorhead lose 56-14 to Maple Grove and Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton lose 28-18 to Staples-Motley, and Grand Forks Central edged Fargo South 41-38.
