- ➤ F5 Project—a Fargo-based nonprofit that helps over 500 people each month—hosted a golf tournament last year that raised over $26,000 to fund meals, housing, and rent assistance. Founded by Adam Martin to ease the transition back into civilian life, the group now operates at eight locations across North Dakota and recently expanded into Detroit Lakes. KVRR
- ➤ A new Healing Hotline is available at Garden of Healing in south Fargo to help people say unsaid words to lost loved ones (the phone returns only the sound of wind). It was inspired by similar installations abroad and offers a unique space for finding closure. KVRR

- ➤ Fargo Civic Center will host two live concerts this fall—Marc Rebillet with CAPYAC on October 16 and Yung Gravy with Pertinence on November 6—with tickets starting at $47 and $44.50 as live music returns after a break. Fargo Underground
- ➤ Fargo Theatre will host the Buddy Holly tribute show 'Buddy Holly: Oh Boy!' on Friday, March 13, featuring original cast members from an award-winning production endorsed by Sonny Curtis and Jerry Allison of The Crickets—tickets cost $50.50 and sales begin at 10 a.m. on Friday. KVRR

- ➤ At a special Cass County Commission meeting, a spokesperson for Applied Digital asked to expand county roads near the proposed data center on Cass Highway 22 at 45th St N and on Cass County Highway 81 about 2,100 feet north of 64th Ave N—plans include bypass and right turn lanes plus two access approaches, with Applied Digital covering design, construction, and inspection costs while the county pays for upkeep. The commission also named Sarah Heinle as finance director and required a safety study by the sheriff’s office before construction begins. KVRR

- ➤ Officials are handling a bird flu outbreak affecting commercial and backyard flocks in ND, MN and SD. In the past 30 days, 17 flocks—11 commercial and six backyard—tested positive, with outbreaks impacting 25,000 birds in Redwood, 41,000 in Lamoure, 60,300 in Dickey and hundreds of thousands in South Dakota.
