- ➤ Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band Heart, led by sisters Ann & Nancy Wilson, will perform on their Royal Flush Tour at Scheels Arena on March 11. Tickets go on sale Friday, Sept. 19 at 10:00 a.m. KVRR
- ➤ A.J. Croce, who spent years avoiding his father's music, will perform at Fargo Theatre on Monday, September 22 at 8 p.m.—integrating his own songs with his father Jim Croce's legacy. His tour, Croce Plays Croce, features nearly three dozen dates that offer unique setlists selected with audience input. KVRR
- ➤ Rock tribute band Hairball will perform at Scheels Arena on Saturday, January 24, 2026, as part of the 2nd Annual Craft Brew Crawl where one ticket covers both the concert and a tasting of over a dozen local breweries. - ➤ The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction has released the updated textbook Journey to Understanding—covering the history and culture of five Native nations—and digital copies are available while printed copies will soon reach schools. Updated textbooks focusing on individual tribes will be released in the coming months to support Native American history education. KVRR

GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Fargo and Moorhead leaders are asking for public input on plans to replace the flood-prone 12th Ave N and 15th Ave N bridge — a project that used a federal grant in 2022 to study environmental impacts and aims to prevent future flooding closures. City engineers expect a final design by the end of 2026 and a second public meeting will be held Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Moorhead — comments are welcome until October 3. - ➤ On Monday night the Fargo City Commission approved a plan to examine new sites for the Downtown Engagement Center—considering options like the former Fargo Brewing building at 610 N. University, a property at 720 14th St, and one at 2001 First Ave North—to find a better location for the homeless services facility currently at 222 4th Street North. AM 1100 The Flag
- ➤ Fargo officials approved a plan to move the Downtown Engagement Center after business owners and commissioners raised concerns about drug use and mental illness linked to crime; the current center at 222 Fourth St N may move to one of three sites—610 N. - ➤ NDSU linebacker Logan Kopp was named to the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team—one of college football's top honors for community service, making him the 10th player from NDSU to be recognized. The senior from St. Louis, Missouri led his team last season with 73 tackles and three interceptions and will play on Sept. 27 against South Dakota. NDSU
