- ➤ On Tuesday morning, 89-year-old Burton Swenson died when his car collided with the westbound vehicle of 64-year-old Cary Zepper on State Highway 34 between Barnesville and Dunvilla in rural Clay County — authorities said both drivers were wearing seat belts and alcohol was not a factor as Zepper was taken to a Fargo hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
