- ➤ 41-year-old Jon Koehmstedt, a cherished assistant principal and activities director at Grafton Public Schools, drowned in Cass Lake on Saturday after leaving his pontoon to fix a boat motor—his funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Grafton High School gymnasium. WDAY Radio
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A Fargo man with a knife—21-year-old Dillon Kloehn—threatened officer Kent Cleveland and rushed him at a Dollar General in Walker, Minnesota on Friday around 6:45 p.m. while wearing only his boxers and acting intoxicated before Cleveland shot him once, leaving a non life-threatening injury and charging Kloehn with assault, attempted aggravated robbery and fleeing a peace officer. - ➤ On Monday at 8:48 p.m. in Moorhead, officers responded to a domestic assault at an apartment on 3rd Ave. North and an exchange of gunfire left two adults dead while children inside were unharmed and three Fargo officers went on paid administrative leave as the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension took over the investigation. - ➤ A Fargo man named Dillon Kloehn was involved in a police shooting in Walker on August 8 after a Dollar General employee reported he threatened staff with a knife and charged at officers; he fled after being wounded but was later caught and now faces charges of assault, attempted aggravated robbery, and fleeing a peace officer.
