- ➤ A Lisbon couple on vacation in Alaska sustained serious injuries in a head-on crash on July 25—Ty Michels is in Anchorage awaiting surgery on his ankle and jaw while Katelyn Michels is in the ICU in Seattle after multiple surgeries. KVRR
- ➤ On Saturday at around 5:30 p.m. in Oxbow a child nearly drowned at a residence and was transported by Sanford AirMed to a local hospital—investigators with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office and the family are working to learn more about the incident. WDAY Radio
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A man was arrested Saturday after a 25-mile pursuit near Casselton on I-94 and Highway 18 where he reached 115 mph and drove into oncoming lanes; patrol used a PIT maneuver to stop his vehicle and he now faces charges including fleeing, carrying a concealed weapon, reckless endangerment and open container (he also had active arrest warrants and was evaluated at Sanford Medical Center before being booked into Cass County Jail).
