- ➤ Organizers said the Downtown Fargo Street Fair drew over 100,000 visitors from July 17th to 19th—up more than 10% overall from 2024—with Saturday figures rising over 16% and many vendors running out of supplies due to the crowd. WDAY Radio
- ➤ The Downtown Fargo Street Fair drew more than 100,000 people last week as crowds rose over 10 percent from 2024. Analytics showed attendance increased 8 percent on Thursday and 16 percent on Saturday — officials noted plans for the 50th anniversary next July 16-18 are underway. KVRR
- ➤ FUSE will host its annual free back-to-school supplies event on August 6 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Jefferson Elementary—providing backpacks, supplies and kids’ activities for students registered in Fargo Public Schools. - ➤ Former Cass County Deputy Darin Viken of Fargo pleaded guilty to six misdemeanors for unwanted sexual advances toward women in the court-ordered 24-7 program—he will serve five days of electronic home monitoring, complete 50 hours of community service and is barred from renewing his peace officer license while on probation after being fired last July.
