- ➤ NDSU’s College of Engineering is hosting STEM Kids Camp at the A. Glenn Hill Center from July 21 to 24+ it offers hands-on sessions that spark interest in science, technology, engineering and math for students from kindergarten to 12th grade. Today the Rockin’ Robots class runs from 1 to 4 p.m. + it uses LEGO Spike Prime kits to teach robotics fundamentals. NDSU

- ➤ Gov. Armstrong requested a presidential major disaster declaration for 19 counties after severe storms on June 20 and 21 left four people dead, caused about $11.5 million in damage and produced roughly 20 tornadoes and strong winds. The request may allow FEMA aid for debris removal and repairs to roads, public buildings and electrical lines—helping communities recover from the storm damage. KVRR

- ➤ Starting Aug 1, North Dakota’s medical marijuana program will allow low-dose THC edibles sold as square lozenges with up to 5 mg per serving and 50 mg per package — and patients can qualify using tele-health for their initial meeting while card durations extend to two years.
