  • On Saturday, North Dakota Horse Park hosted corgi races during breaks in the horse competitions, and Nova.FARGO won the first heat while Northern Corgis organized the event (featuring adoptable pups from 4 Luv of Dog). The park will hold a breed battle on August 23 (with corgis to race against wiener dogs) to further engage local families.  KVRR

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Lane closures on eastbound 13th Avenue South will begin Monday as the road is reduced to one lane between University Drive and 10th Street South — the stretch from 4th to 5th Street South will be closed. Drivers will be detoured to 14th Avenue South for up to 10 days while crews repair the concrete pavement.  WDAY Radio
