CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Drafton Eugene Jones, wanted on a nationwide warrant for attempted homicide, was arrested in West Fargo at 12:20 a.m. on July 6 after he assaulted carnival staff and fled in a vehicle that police identified during a traffic stop at the Rodeway Inn parking lot — he now faces charges for firearm possession, providing false information to law enforcement, marijuana possession and an open container. - ➤ A man whose remains were found near Page over 50 years ago was identified as William Howard Tate after a July 1 exhumation at Saint James Cemetery—officials used a denture plate marked Tate W.
