  • On the final day of the Red River Valley Fair in West Fargo, children enjoyed rides, games, and concerts as the event bounced back from a slow 2024 season. Organizers said the changes boosted ticket sales for concerts like All-American Rejects + Kane Brown and they will host the fair again in 2026.  KVRR

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • On Saturday, a child was seriously injured when a vehicle struck the minor in a Fargo parking lot before 7 p.m.—witnesses confronted driver Michael Kimba, who fled after briefly stopping to help and later called police, with reckless driving charges now under review by the City Attorney.  WDAY Radio

CRIME NEWS

  • A Fargo woman, identified as 35-year-old Jessica McCroskey, was arrested without incident for attempted murder after she stabbed a man on the 1300 block of 3rd Avenue N on Saturday morning— the victim said he confronted her on his property before sustaining a neck wound and being taken to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.  KVRR

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Fargo Police will hold a memorial service today at 9 a.m. at police headquarters to honor fallen Officer Jake Wallin—killed two years ago when a gunman ambushed his team that wounded Officers Andrew Dotas and Tyler Hawes before Officer Zach Robinson fatally shot the suspect.  KVRR
