ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Three people were injured after a Red Cross SUV carrying storm relief supplies collided with a semi at around 11:00 a.m. Wednesday on County Road 26 between Arthur and Hunter (Cass County) during rainy conditions; the 74-year-old driver and two passengers were taken to a Fargo hospital with the driver cited for failing to yield while the semi driver was unharmed.  WDAY Radio

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Governor Kelly Armstrong toured storm-damaged areas in Cass County on Wednesday — he visited Enderlin, Page, and Hunter after a tornado killed three people and damaged farms and storage. He said his top goal was to help affected residents and direct state support to recovery efforts.  AM 1100 The Flag
  • Fargo Mayor Dr. Tim Mahoney said he opposes switching to primary elections for City Commission roles and adopting a ward system because it would raise campaign costs and split the community—he noted that current campaign expenses of about five to ten thousand dollars could double under a new system. His remarks came at a recent commission meeting after residents proposed the changes for local offices.  WDAY Radio

  • Corwin Subaru in Fargo donated 80 custom blankets to Sanford Pediatric Oncology to help keep patients warm during cancer treatments. The blankets were dropped off at Sanford Broadway Medical Center — part of a decade-long partnership with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  KVRR
