Good morning, Fargo.

Twenty-seven high school students learned how to manage severe bleeding at a scrubs boot camp at Essentia Health yesterday, with ER nurses guiding them on proper tourniquet use and wound care using a medical dummy (which simulated realistic injuries).

Construction is underway at the old Scandia Hotel site where the new Peltier Lodge will offer lodging for up to 23 cancer patients and their caregivers.

The facility includes communal spaces, kitchenettes, a wellness room, and an outdoor courtyard patio (completion is expected in June 2027).
