Good morning, Fargo.

A new Fargo Fitness Project will open this fall offering workout classes, a childcare center, nutrition club plus cold plunge and sauna, with facility partners including CrossFit Fargo, Abundant Blessing Daycare, and Immersion Recovery and Mindset Center.

A groundbreaking ceremony is held today at 3 p.m. at 6244 51st Avenue South, and Jake Haile said the project will help people achieve consistent results.

Cass County Sheriff Jesse Jahner said recovery and cleanup efforts continue after Friday’s severe weather struck eastern areas including Page, Arthur, Erie and Hunter—where his deputies now run 12-hour emergency shifts—to clear debris and stop looting after a tornado killed three people in Enderlin.

TEDxFargo will hold its expanded two-day event from July 23rd to 24th at Brewhalla in Fargo—this change comes as the event uses the Thread theme to show how ideas connect.

The program will include talks by speakers like Kim Christfort, The Minimalists and John Werner and will be hosted by Andy DeMeo and Latonya Wallace.

Last Friday, a severe storm produced 17 tornadoes across North Dakota that caused damage to homes, farms, and trees.

An EF3 tornado near Enderlin killed 3 people, derailed train cars, and leveled a farmhouse — marking the first tornado deaths in Eastern ND since 2007.
