ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Traffic is open along I-94 near Eckelson Lake at mile marker 278 after two semis overturned in high winds and tornadoes across several counties—drivers escaped injury while highway patrol controlled traffic. KVRR
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ A record storm produced sustained 100 mph winds as a meso low dropped central pressure to 942 mb, causing widespread damage in central and eastern ND from McClusky plus Carrington to Jamestown and Ashley. Three fatalities were reported in Enderlin while Fargo was spared the worst of the impact. WDAY Radio
- ➤ Strong straight-line winds damaged Clifford as trees fell on the Norman Lutheran church and roads while power remained out late Friday night into Saturday morning. Galesburg recorded a 99 mph gust while nearby communities such as Hillsboro, Hope and Mayville had winds over 60 mph—no injuries were reported. WDAY Radio

- ➤ Governor Kelly Armstrong declared a statewide disaster Friday night after deadly storms caused three deaths and widespread damage, and he activated the State Emergency Operations Plan—state agencies are now coordinating recovery efforts while about 25,000 people remain without power. WDAY Radio
