- ➤ Blue Cross Blue Shield of ND and United Way of Cass-Clay hosted the Eat United event on Wednesday, June 18th where food trucks lined the parking lot and live music played. Sixteen vendors participated & four were new while a portion of the sales went to United Way’s general fund. KVRR
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A 53-year-old man from Fort Ransom was stopped by Highway Patrol after a three-county chase that began Tuesday just before 11 a.m. on I-29 — his vehicle swerved, brake checked, and failed to stop near Mayville and Buxton — and he now faces charges including reckless endangerment, aggravated reckless driving, fleeing a police officer, resisting arrest, and unsafe lane changes. - ➤ Fargo police chief David Zibolski said he was dismayed to learn that Joseph Manitowabi—who punched three officers downtown this month—was released early from prison in April for a previous violent assault without any notification despite only having served 85% of his sentence. WDAY Radio
- ➤ Kevin Anderson, a 53 year old man from Fort Ransom, was arrested after a chase on I-29 that spanned three counties where he swerved and brake checked around 10:50 a.m. in Cass County — officers spiked his vehicle in Grand Forks County and took him into custody as investigations continue. KVRR

- ➤ Fargo Theatre and local podcast hosts Michelle Roller and JD Provorse will host the Darkest Day of Horror film festival downtown on Saturday—falling on the summer solstice with the longest day—as they present a twelve-hour selection of short independent horror films. KVRR

- ➤ Fargo finished the first phase of the 32nd Avenue South project yesterday—Flint Group said outside lanes between 15th and 17th Street South will reopen later this week. The second phase covering 17th and 18th Streets South is now underway. AM 1100 The Flag
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ North Dakota has not seen any new measles cases since May 28—three weeks ago—even though the outbreak still continues; state health officials ended precautionary isolation recommendations on Wednesday and advise residents in Williams County to get an MMR vaccine if they are six months or older.
