- ➤ On Tuesday morning, Cass County Jail went into lockdown after two suspicious packages with wires and other materials were delivered at its entrance—bomb squad, drone team and fire services were called—and the sheriff’s office determined they were not explosives and resumed operations while the investigation continues. - ➤ ND Legislative Council staff removed lawmaker addresses from a public website after deadly lawmaker shootings in Minnesota—where a suspect reportedly impersonated a police officer, resulting in one lawmaker's death and others injured—as a precaution, according to a council leader.
