- ➤ Gevo announced plans to invest about $500M in a sustainable jet fuel plant at its Richardton ethanol facility – a move driven by rising low-carbon fuel demand – as president Chris Ryan explained at the Midwest Agriculture Summit in Fargo. - ➤ A Fargo man was arrested for felony criminal trespass on June 10 after he climbed into his ex-girlfriend’s family home on Ashwood Loop South—falling asleep in a bedroom—before officers cleared the house and detained him. WDAY Radio
- ➤ Two Fargo men were charged with possessing an explosive device after ND Highway Patrol stopped their vehicle for illegal window tint on I-29 Wednesday morning—authorities found the device during the search and Bomb Squad safely detonated it just after noon while the highway remained closed for over two hours. - ➤ A report from NDSU says North Dakota farm income will rise by 39% this year to reach $4.79 billion—driven largely by government payments estimated at $3.0 billion while crop receipts fall 10%. - ➤ Sheri Anderson, NDSU associate vice president for strategic research initiatives, was named as an Association of Public and Land-Grant Universities Council on Research Fellow for 2025—making her one of eight research leaders nationwide to receive the honor.
