- ➤ Last weekend, AMVets of Fargo rode to Lisbon to raise funds for the North Dakota Veterans Home as over 40 riders each paid a $25 registration fee and enjoyed local tours—organizers said the event supported fellow veterans. KVRR

- ➤ A Cass County deputy found an overturned car in the 3500 block of 36th Street South just after 1:30 a.m. on June 8 and broke a window to help the unconscious driver—who later regained consciousness, was taken by Sanford EMS to a hospital, and received a citation for Care Required as the investigation continues. - ➤ Fargo police arrested 37-year-old Joseph Manitowabi on Saturday after officers responded to a call on the 200 block of Roberts Street North and he punched three officers during a brief chase—he faces charges of Preventing Arrest, Possession of Methamphetamine, three counts of Assault on a Police Officer and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. - ➤ Under Brew Skies returned to The Lights in West Fargo on June 7, where nearly 20 local beverage purveyors offered their special brews—Blackbird Woodfire served its popular pizza and $25 tickets raised funds for the North Dakota Brewers’ Guild. KVRR
- ➤ The second floor of Brewhalla hosted a Maker’s Market this weekend with over 40 vendors selling handmade goods such as mugs, custom clothing, and brooms from a maker in Napoleon — visitors roamed free and met the makers. Unglued organized the event and looks forward to more markets that showcase local creativity. KVRR

- ➤ Cass County Jail will open a new two-floor jail pod with 192 beds by the end of June to ease capacity issues the sheriff said—staff will soon train on the new design so local inmates can be housed without delay. AM 1100 The Flag
