- ➤ Fargo Park District will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony from 12pm — 4pm on Monday, June 16 as Island Park Pool reopens with a competitive swimming pool featuring diving boards, a lazy river, and water slides. - ➤ Fargo’s city commission will consider a change at its June 9th meeting to raise fines for riding bikes, scooters, skateboards and rollerblading on Broadway sidewalks downtown from $20 to $100. If approved, the update will make the offense criminal (possibly leading to arrest) to help improve sidewalk safety. WDAY Radio
