- ➤ Volunteers from 16 local businesses helped pack one-pound bags of beans and noodles at Great Plains Food Bank's Packathon on June 4 in Fargo; Bremer Bank led a friendly contest by packing over 1,000 pounds. Noodles were purchased from a company in Casselton while beans were donated by a local farmer, and the event will continue next week at the Regional Distribution Center in Bismarck. KVRR

- ➤ According to the North Dakota Public Health Association, North Dakota has the highest per-capita measles rate in the United States with 34 cases (4.27 per 100,000) as some families choose not to vaccinate their children.
