- ➤ The Great Plains Food Bank got 40-thousand pounds of mac and cheese donated by Land O'Lakes which will go to nearly 200 partner food pantries, shelters and other locations in Clay County and across the state. Some of the food will go to students' families over the summer through the food bank program. WDAY Radio
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ West Fargo city commissioners will meet Monday at 5:30 p.m. at West Fargo City Hall to discuss a proposed ordinance that would make it a class B misdemeanor to sleep in buildings, vehicles or temporary structures not designed for living + the measure sets clear penalties under city rules. - ➤ Six drinking water projects received state loans for repairs and improvements since March. Hillsboro got $8.6 million to expand its water treatment plant + West Fargo, Mandan, Portland and Surrey received smaller amounts from the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund. KVRR
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Since last Sunday (recorded on Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday), North Dakota saw three new measles cases that raised the total to 32 among unvaccinated individuals.
