CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Fargo Police say FLOCK license plate readers helped track down 27-year-old Madison Dunkirk—who was seen stealing high-value items and hitting a store worker with a shopping cart and hot coffee on May 20—from a business in the 4200 block of 13th Avenue South, and officers later found her near 25th Street and 19th Avenue South, arresting her on the 1200 block of Broadway North and charging her with robbery and outstanding warrants. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ NDSU engineering students built a wearable device that monitors chemical exposure and vital signs for firefighters—an innovation designed to give real-time data during emergencies. They partnered with Fargo and Moorhead Fire Departments and will test the device soon to ensure it works reliably in dangerous conditions. NDSU

- ➤ Fargo Police will swear in 10 new officers who graduated from the department's eighth academy class at an event scheduled for Monday at 9 a.m. at the Commission Chambers in Fargo City Hall (the ceremony will also be broadcast online). AM 1100 The Flag

- ➤ Fargo Marathon officials said they are monitoring smoke from Canadian wildfires with local authorities and the National Weather Service but made no changes to today's race schedule as air quality is expected to be poor.
