EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Fargo’s Davies High School Vivace choir, directed by Carly Grandner McDougall, was named the Governor’s official state choral program for the 2025-26 school year and may perform at state events—an honor awarded after a statewide selection—and joins St. Mary’s Central High School Wind Orchestra in receiving state recognition. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ A Fargo committee has been meeting for over three months to work on an RFP for a new convention center and reworked their scoring system into three parts—site, concept, and team weighted 40, 30, and 30 percent, respectively. They will present the RFP to the City Commission within a month and start the process mid-June, with a project expected to be chosen by the end of 2025 or early 2026. AM 1100 The Flag
