- ➤ A new collaboration between NDSU and Bonanzaville is opening this weekend in West Fargo with three permanent exhibits; two, created by NDSU’s Museum Studies students, display artifacts that tell Fargo’s frontier origins and the history of Bonanza farms. The exhibit creators invite community feedback (students discussed their passion on the Morning Show) to ensure the displays honor local family histories. KVRR

- ➤ Lisa Montplaisir, a professor of biological sciences and education at NDSU, was given the Doctor of Service Award by the Blue Key Honor Society for her strong service and leadership. She has worked hard for students and faculty — serving on the state board of higher education and leading the Faculty Senate. NDSU
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Today, Essentia Health-Fargo Foundation received a $30,000 grant from the American Cancer Society to help cancer patients with transportation and lodging during treatment—$20,000 will go toward travel and $10,000 toward lodging. AM 1100 The Flag

- ➤ U.S. Navy veteran Stuart Fuke, hurt in battle, toured his soon-to-be fully furnished, mortgage-free home on 55th Avenue West in West Fargo with his mother. The home was donated by U.S. Bank and Freedom Alliance’s Heroes to Homeowners program — the gift will help him focus on his recovery. KVRR
