- ➤ NDSU engineering alum Richard Offerdahl will receive an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters at the commencement ceremony at Fargodome at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 16 (this honor follows his record-setting $25 million donation that created the new engineering complex). NDSU
- ➤ Former Gov. Jack Dalrymple and his wife Betsy will receive Honorary Doctorates from NDSU at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 16 at the Fargodome; Jack earns a Doctor of Agriculture while Betsy receives a Doctor of Humane Letters (recognizing their service from 2010 to 2016). KVRR
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Vitalant dedicates May to honoring moms with blood donations that support new mothers facing childbirth complications. Donors can fill out a card in a mom's name and receive a text when their donation is used. KVRR
- ➤ North Dakota announced over $20 million in rural health grants to support workforce training + improve healthcare services statewide. Applications for the grants are due May 15, May 22, and May 29. KVRR
