- ➤ Admiral Stuart Munsch, a North Dakota native and four-star Navy officer, will receive an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters at NDSU’s spring commencement ceremony on May 17 at 10 a.m. at the Fargodome—he is honored for his four decades of service and leadership in the Navy. NDSU

- ➤ State lawmakers cut proposed funding for a deflection center in Fargo after Tuesday's Senate debate raised concerns about policy hearings and state responsibility & the Senate removed the $3 million proposal for Fargo and plans for a similar center in Bismarck with a 5-1 vote. WDAY Radio
- ➤ The Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo Chamber of Commerce is hosting a discussion on crime and safety where local police chiefs (Fargo Police Chief David Zibolski, Moorhead’s new Police Chief Chris Helmick, and West Fargo Police Chief Pete Nielsen) will review 2024 crime statistics.
