- ➤ Operation Red River Ready donated 3,000 life-saving multi-tools to Fargo Police as part of a community project honoring Taryn Paul, a teenager who died after a vehicle submersion accident. The tool features a seatbelt cutter + whistle + device to break a car window and help in emergencies. KVRR
BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Chuck E. Cheese will return this fall in West Fargo at Westgate Commons with a re-imagined Adventure World that features a multi-story indoor playground for kids, though the opening date is not yet set. KVRR
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Home Free, the group that won the fourth season of The Sing Off, will perform at Fargo Theatre on Sunday, July 19 during their Highways & High Seas Tour this summer — reserved seating tickets start at $49.50 online beginning Friday. KVRR
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ The North Dakota Public Service Commission approved a $110-million power project for the new AI data center under construction north of Fargo. Minnkota will build a substation east of I-29 and connect it to existing lines via a high-voltage powerline (scheduled to be operational in September). KVRR

- ➤ NDSU’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Family Business will launch the Student‑Made marketplace in Fall 2026 to let students design, produce, and sell original products through an online store and pop‑up events.
