ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Fargo Fire Marshal Ryan Erickson closed the investigation into two school bus fires at Valley Bus on south Fargo property, with the fire on March 27 starting below a bus dash from an undetermined cause and the fire on March 28 destroying a bus due to an electrical failure.  KVRR

CRIME NEWS

  • Fargo Police arrested 28-year-old Daniel Scott early Sunday on the 50 block of Broadway North after a disturbance involving a firearm; officers found that both he and the victim had fled and later located the injured victim at a local healthcare facility, and Scott now faces charges including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon+ aggravated reckless endangerment, felon in possession of a firearm and a protection order violation.  AM 1100 The Flag

CULTURE NEWS

  • Vietnam Memorial Week events took place at the Fargo Air Museum on April 26 and 27 with a flag raising, gun salute, and displays of Vietnam weaponry, aircraft and vehicles + a performance by the Red River Concert Band and presentations by veterans who shared memories and urged continued support for veteran services. Admission was free all week, and local veterans were pleased to see strong public care for their experiences.  KVRR
  • The 48th Valley Vintage Car Show took place at Veterans Memorial Arena this weekend, charging a ten-dollar fee for visitors to view 99 classic cars dating back to 1912 and raising $5,000 for five local charities (vendors also sold food and drinks).  KVRR
