  • The Plains Art Museum will host its Spring Arts Gala 2026, called 'Nightmare at the Museum', featuring dark artwork on beer cans + skeleton displays and local artist meet-ups. The event raises funds to keep the museum accessible for everyone.  KVRR

  • NDSU senior Sarah Kruse received the YWCA Young Woman of Today & Tomorrow award during the 53rd annual Women of the Year event on Monday, April 20 in Cass Clay counties; she was one of 34 women honored for her leadership and community service (in biology and statistics).  NDSU
  • Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce is offering the Good Jobs Challenge today to train residents for tech-related fields with up to $5,000 in tuition support—backed by a nearly $10 million grant. The program has trained 570 people and aims to reach over 900 by Sept. 30.  KVRR
