- ➤ Jeremy Jorgenson, 42 (from Hawley, Minnesota), appeared in court in Fargo for the hit-and-run that killed 61-year-old bicyclist Bernd Scholz (at NP Avenue and 10th Street North around 8 p.m. on March 12) and his bond is set at $7,500 with a court return on May 29. KVRR

- ➤ Senate Majority Leader David Hogue said lawmakers are working quickly in the final weeks of session as they reschedule bills and debate funding for transportation projects and property tax credits. - ➤ U.S. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins visited NDSU on April 22 to meet with university leaders and local farmers about the upcoming farm bill and new agricultural technology.
