- ➤ West Fargo and Fargo fire crews battled a structure fire on Saturday, April 19 at the 80 block of Center Street—arriving just before 12:30 p.m. to quickly extinguish flames from residential townhomes with no injuries or resident displacement as officials continue to investigate the cause. CRIME NEWS
- ➤ On Thursday at around 9 p.m., the FAA reported a green laser struck a Sikorsky UH-60 near Hector International Airport—two miles from the airport—with no injuries, and Fargo Police’s Criminal Investigations Division is working with the FAA to investigate the incident. AM 1100 The Flag

- ➤ The state Senate passed an education funding bill on April 19 that allows state funds to cover student costs in private schools and sent the bill to the House. Supporters said the funding is based on federal poverty guidelines + to ensure eligible students have the same access to education savings accounts as those in public schools +. AM 1100 The Flag
- ➤ Director Derek Tournear and General Michael Guetlein of the U.S. Space Force will visit the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks Air Force Base + Cavalier Space Force Station next week. - ➤ Legislative leaders are speeding up work as the 80-day session nears its May 9 deadline. House and Senate officials said they will meet in conference committees several times a day to review 58 bills as part of 170 bills that still need a decision—pausing only when floor sessions are in progress.
