- ➤ Fargo will begin enforcing a new camping ban on April 30th and Churches United said the policy may force 200—300 households to seek shelter as fewer outdoor options remain downtown—raising concerns among local pastors. KVRR

- ➤ The North Dakota Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash that injured a motorcyclist at the intersection of 52nd Avenue South and 31st Street South last week — the investigation is separate from Fargo Police's case on fleeing that could lead to felony charges, according to Captain Bryan Niewind. - ➤ On Jan. 24th the North Dakota House voted 55 to 37 to approve a bill that may let the state charge employee premiums even though lawmakers said no premiums would be forced and the plan would offer more benefits and savings. The bill now moves to the Senate for a vote as lawmakers debate its impact on health care costs and employee recruitment. KVRR
- ➤ James J. Doolittle has been named director of ND EPSCoR — a program that partners with schools, colleges and businesses to support STEM research — and he will lead daily operations across the state. He will begin his role with an in-depth analysis of opportunities to boost STEM workforce development in North Dakota. NDSU

- ➤ Kids who have lost a loved one can join Camp Good Mourning at Turtle River State Park—this day camp, sponsored by Altru Health System, will help 5- to 18-year-olds learn coping skills through group discussions, arts and crafts, music therapy, and nature walks.
