EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Renovations are underway at the NDSU president’s on-campus home as the foundation funds a $650,000 project (using reserves) to improve safety, privacy and unfinished areas before new president Marshall Stewart takes over in May. KVRR
- ➤ NDSU’s William Wilson (University Distinguished Professor) has led agricultural commodity research focused on logistics and risk strategy since 1980. His work supports local firms and students in navigating today’s global supply chain challenges. NDSU
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ North Dakota has officially become the first non-federal agency to receive live drone data from the FAA — a move that will enable the Vantis network to conduct remote inspections after severe weather and keep workers out of harm’s way. KVRR
- ➤ Due to hot, dry and windy conditions, Cass County declared a fire emergency and put burn restrictions in place through Nov. 30. Residents are urged to check daily Fire Danger Ratings before using any equipment for burning. KVRR
