- ➤ A Fargo woman serving a nine-year sentence for running people down with her car faces new felony financial fraud charges—she is accused of stealing debit cards from two assisted living facility clients in 2023 and using them at Walmart in Dilworth for about $8,500 in merchandise, and she will appear in court on April 25. - ➤ The West Fargo School Board approved changing school boundaries at Aurora, Deer Creek, Legacy, and Horace Elementary on Monday night to ease crowding and affect 291 students. - ➤ The Fargo City Commission postponed its vote on making the mayor a full-time position and adding two commissioner spots — a 30-day delay to gather public input. Commissioner Michelle Turnberg said budget limits mean the change could force raising taxes or cutting services, and the commission may consider a shift to a ward-based city council. WDAY Radio
- ➤ The Clay County Commission voted 4-1 to ban vaping products at county-licensed stores today after a proposal by Commissioner Jenny Mongeau, with Commissioner Ezra Baer voting against it. The rule still allows stores to sell flavored tobacco products (menthol cigarettes, nicotine pouches, cigars and chewing tobacco) and is meant to curb youth addiction. WDAY Radio
