- ➤ Carrol Juven, the last living founding member of Fargo’s Kringen Lodge Sons of Norway and owner of Juven Tours and Travel who led nearly 200 trips to Norway over 60 years, died at 88. CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Police arrested 25 year old Ryan Lyle Williams on Saturday, March 29 after he allegedly keyed a parked Tesla in the Costco parking lot along 23rd Avenue East in West Fargo (security camera footage helped police identify him) and he now faces felony criminal mischief charges. WDAY Radio

- ➤ Today, Fargo’s quarter-cent sales tax increase for police and fire funding takes effect after passing overwhelmingly last November by Firefighters Local 642—its revenue will support the departments for the next 20 years—and raises the general sales tax to 7.75%. KVRR
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ North Dakota health agencies lost $3.2 million in federal funding for substance use and mental health programs as block grants were rescinded last week—42 grantees statewide, including Fargo groups, are affected. The Health and Human Services Department is working to secure new funding to keep services running. KVRR
