- ➤ Dr. Alan Smith presented his case for NDSU’s presidency on March 25. The tenured professor (from Utah State University) emphasized enrollment growth and research as the search committee will recommend candidates to the State Board of Higher Education on Friday and the next president will be named Monday. - ➤ NDSU and Minot State University are helping Dickinson State and Dakota College (at Bottineau) improve their bookkeeping after staffing delays since 2022; officials expect to complete reviews of Dickinson’s records by the end of April. KVRR
- ➤ Presidential candidate Alan Smith spoke at an open forum at NDSU's Memorial Union on March 25, sharing plans to boost student success with data-driven support, integrate AI into learning, and strengthen the land-grant mission.
