- ➤ A person was hospitalized for minor injuries after a cooking fire broke out in a Moorhead high rise on Friday morning at 8:00 a.m.—fire crews responded at the 800 block of 2nd Avenue North by extinguishing the fire with a sprinkler system and beginning cleanup with no one displaced. - ➤ On Friday morning at 3:15 a.m., fire crews put out a small, suspicious fire in wood chips around a Tesla charging station in the Scheels parking lot on 45th Street, and no injuries were reported—officials are investigating the cause. AM 1100 The Flag

- ➤ Fargo residents are concerned about a proposed dairy facility in Richland County as environmentalists say chemicals + waste from the operation may reach the Red River and affect local water quality. The Dakota Resource Council’s Agricultural Committee is petitioning the state’s environmental quality department to repeal the farm’s permit. AM 1100 The Flag

- ➤ A bill to strengthen North Dakota law on false political ads passed the Senate on Wednesday with a 45-1 vote and will return to the House for a vote on an amendment that adds text messages and phone calls to the existing coverage—Sen. Sean Cleary introduced the amendment on March 19th to clarify election communication rules. The House decision will determine if the bill moves to a final floor vote before it heads to the governor’s desk. KVRR
