- ➤ Cass County Sheriff Jesse Jahner said he has seen more cryptocurrency scams where victims invest up to $15,000 in kiosks, and a bill in the ND legislature would limit daily deposits to $2,000 while adding warning labels and compliance measures (including blockchain analytics) to help stop fraud. - ➤ The Convention Center Project Committee from Fargo City Hall—departing on a two-day trip on Monday and Tuesday—will tour River’s Edge Convention Center in St. Cloud and Mayo Civic Center in Rochester to plan a new convention center in Fargo following a lodging tax increase approved last November. They expect initial requests for proposals by the end of April and estimate the project to cost between $40 and $45 million. KVRR
- ➤ Fargo Housing Authority's longtime director Lynn Fundingsland died Tuesday at age 76—he was a Vietnam veteran who earned a master’s in community planning from NDSU and led public housing efforts in Becker County and Fargo.
