- ➤ Deputy Finn, a 14-month-old Labrador from Milaca, Minnesota, was sworn in this week as a Community Outreach Comfort Dog for the Cass County Sheriff’s Office and will serve alongside Deputy Jolene Fletcher in outreach efforts. The program, funded by community partners, aims to build positive relationships in Cass County. KVRR
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The Episcopal Diocese will ordain Rev. Shay Craig as its first woman bishop today at Gethsemane Cathedral starting at 10:00 a.m. Several clergy from the United States and Canada will attend the service following her election in October. KVRR
- ➤ Disney on Ice returns today to the Fargodome with famous characters performing ice skating, aerial dance, puppetry, and pyrotechnics set to music from films like The Lion King, Frozen, and Aladdin. KVRR
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Village Family Service Center launched an IOP for teens aged 14 to 17 to address substance use with prevention, education, and group discussion in Fargo. The program (currently limited to 12 participants) recently received a Health Innovation Grant from Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota Caring Foundation. KVRR
