- ➤ Northstar Coffee will close all three Fargo locations on March 31 after 30 years in business as owner Jeanna Cook confirmed the decision; customers are encouraged to use gift cards while details on liquidating inventory and equipment are announced. KVRR

- ➤ A report shows North Dakota meets only 34.9% of its mental health care needs, leaving many residents waiting weeks or months for help & facing higher costs when treatment finally begins. Essentia Health is training future clinicians to help ease the shortage. KVRR
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ NDSU announced its 12-game 2026 football schedule and will open with home games Aug. 29 against Jacksonville State + Sept. 5 against Fordham. The team will host Wyoming for homecoming on Oct. 3, and season ticket deposits are accepted online until April 30. NDSU
- ➤ The NDSU men’s basketball team beat UND 70+62 on Sunday night to win the Summit League Tournament title and secure a spot in the NCAA Tournament, with their matchup to be announced on Selection Sunday, March 15. NDSU
