CULTURE NEWS

  • The Sportsmen’s Show returns at Fargodome this weekend featuring Jonathan Wood’s Extreme Raptors—a live, interactive display of trained birds from the Americas and beyond that signals one of the first signs of spring in the Red River region.  KVRR

EDUCATION NEWS

  • More than 150 North Dakota special education professionals reported burnout and safety risks in a survey presented to lawmakers this week; nearly half said they rarely had paid leave while many are considering leaving their roles (ND United report).  KVRR

HEALTH NEWS

  • ND HHS confirmed one measles case in Traill County and one in Pembina County — the first in Traill and part of 23 statewide cases in 2026. The agency urges anyone not fully vaccinated to talk to a trusted provider about getting the MMR vaccine.  KVRR

SPORTS NEWS

  • The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks will play five games as the Woodchippers during their 30 year anniversary season in homage to a Coen Brothers film. They debut Friday, June 12 versus the Winnipeg Goldeyes with postgame fireworks and custom merchandise available at the team store + online.  KVRR
